oh, and when we got there, we (erms) were the only school that dressed up, so everyone was looking at us like we're these rich, snobby kids. haha and when all of us erms people arrived and saw them in their un-dressy jeans and tee shirts we were like 'hey thats not fair, we were the only ones who had to dress up

we have the field trip today. not fun. but watching an ameteuer actor impersonate a physco/muderer is better than school, i guess. and then after the play we go to a fast food place for lunch.
oh, and did i mention that we have to dress up? yeah. ok, i made it sound like we have to wear halloween esque costumes! no, we just have to wear like dressy clothes. "because we are representing a school"...w/e, it's really not that bad. for guys it must b cause they have to tuck in their shirts and wear nice pants, but all us girls have to do is wear a "nice" (not too short) skirt, a "nice" top, and dress shoes. so yeah.
and then after school i have NCL and dance so it's a good thing we'll have no hw.

we just got air condtioning in our house, so my parents had to move a LOT of stuff in order for the people to get the stuff in the walls. and of course my mom is looking at all my stuff from kindergarden or whatever, so she calls me upstairs to look at it (gag). while she reads it, i just wander around among the piles of stuff everywhere (i just realized; for once i can say that my room is MUCH, much neater than my parents'), and stumble upon a pair of cute heels. they almost fit me, but when they really do, you better beleiving they'll be some MAJOR borrowing (hehe). so then i see these teal pointy-toed nine west flats; and they fit!! so they're pretty much mine now. they seem like they'd look very nice under jeans...skinny jeans, which, btw, i am desperetly needing.

i'd love to be in mexico right now...

because they are entering fall already; FALL! meaning they've already had spring AND summer, while i am wearing ugg boots and shivering everytime i open the door to let the dog out. plus, in mexico dinner is at 10:00 pm, so there are bigger snacks during the day. not that that matters though.
so here are my favorite spring peices...
First is the raj halter dress from delia*s. decked out with clear sequins and a nice beaded middle, this is a great dress for this spring. plus, it's only $39.50.

my next favorite is the AE striped military mini. i was going to get this one, but sadly they didn't have it in my size online or in the store. it's $34.50; another great spring deal.

last is a polo by abercrombie. normally i'd hate the color, but my sudden obbsession with camo print (camoflauge) has changed my mind on this. it is $24.50 and i just may buy it. (online, of course, because the one in my mall is closed...ugh, don't remind me)

so i went to the city yesterday and i'm going back tomorrow for the museum thing. it should be fun. museum equals boring, but museum plus fashion equals fun.
i went into town today with melissa, maren,sara, and fallon. we ate subway sandwiches (on the sidewalk...haha, don't ask) and then got our nails done at the place next to subway. all the manicurists there had these tattoed eyebrows. a bit scary. well anyway, i got a sheer, peachy shade of pink with a little flower thing. then we went to deborah anne's and fallon got candy (edible) bubbles. we tried to catch them and eat them but they'd just float away-- it was pretty funny! then fallon went back and got another bottle of it for will for his bar mitzvah. then we went to cvs and got makeup (well i just got burt's bees lip balm and mints, but melissa, fallon and maren got eyliner and/or mascara, and sara got a lipgloss). then fallon's mom picked up fallon and maren and melissa, sara, and i went to the gap because we were bored and melissa's mom was still in confrences.
so, back to my weekend. museum on saturday, shopping for puerto rico on sunday. i should get PINK pants. not the sweatpants with the elastic bottom-- i mean like just cotton capris.

i just realized that i forgot to say that I'M GOING TO PUERTO RICO FOR SPRING BREAK! i'm so excited. and then i'm going to quebec(canada) in the summer! also i'm going to vermont in the summer, but we do that every year so it doesn't really count. plus i'm going to camp this summer.

so this weekend i am finally going to that fashion in colors museum exhibit in new york! i'm going to new york tomorrow as well, but it's not to go to the museum. i just love new york; the food, the shows, and the noise. ok, normaly the sound of people shouting and cars honking nonstop would be annoying, but i love it. oh, and i've seen 19 broadway shows in new york. 20, if you count seeing this cool modern dance performance starring Claire Danes.

so i went shopping today with melissa and sara. we saw maren at macy's and helped her pick out a bar mitzfah dress and she bought a tourquoise satin-ish one. i got a gold locket necklace from filene's for $1.59 and a yellow tee from american eagle that i'd wanted. sara finally got pink pants (they're purple...who could have guessed?) and she really likes them so thats good. she also got this diamond necklace from filenes. and melissa bought a necklace at filene's.
now i'm so tired. i never ate lunch today so i'm really hungry, too. better go eat before i start talking to the computer screen or something.

so today we had this study hall-ish type of thing. which is so random considering we don't even have any homework today.
so anyway, someone had thrown up outside in the hall (welcome to middle school; get used to it) and it smelled like..ok, i won't go into details, but lets just say it smelled disgusting. so we're all talking about it (because we're just so cool like that), and i say "where is it?" and then jackie says "you should have seen it!" and i'm like "what? i don't want to see puke!!" then she laughs and explains that she was trying to say i should have been able to see it.

oscars pre-show update

there's a bunch of clips from scary movies on the pre-show right now. they're not showing the blood-drenched Carrie? amazing. i saw the end of that movie once when a friend was over and it seriously creeped me out. it was kinda weird too. when the blood stuff was dumped on the girl it kept getting more and more and more and more...strange. and then she stabs her mother and pins her to the wall.
Matt Dillon's face bugs me. he looks so weird...kinda like he has botox. that's a scary thought.
i really wanted to see memoirs of a geisha but never got around to it. oh well; i haven't heard any majorly great reveiws on it anyway.
i hope there will be good commercials on during the show.
i can't remember if Felicity Huffman's hair was originally blonde or brunette. wow she is being overly freaked out that her crying ruined her makeup. oh, now she's blaming it on the guy who interveiwed her. smooth, Felicity.

this week (or last week; who remembers?) there was this song called "ooh la la" by goldfrapp or something and i am totally in love with this song. it has a disco, madonna-ish sort of vibe, and it makes you want to get up and dance. plus, it sounds like the type of song coca cola would use for one of their funky, we're- so- cool- and- we're- drinking- coke- and- rollerskating- to- this- cool- disco- song- no- one- has- ever- heard- of commercials. (ok, just the chorus, not the whole song, because the verses are a bit slow) not like that matters. just a little something i noticed. so go and buy it on itunes! alright, i think it was last week that it was free, but who cares? this song is AWESOME.
on another note, i had a fortune cookie in my lunch today, and it said aren't you glad you just had a great meal? kind of weird, because that's more of a tiny slip of paper from inside a japanese cookie talking to you than a prediction of your future. but it makes for a good laugh i suppose.

my parents friends are over and they're all in the living room, so i get the computer to myself. not only that, but i managed to snag some chocolate swirl pound cake from the coffee table in the living room.
i'm so proud of myself; i figured out basic html! alright, i made my blog mint-ish colored and made my title move, but that's about it. still, pretty impressive for a total newbie to html.
and speaking of me being a newbie, i have 11 people looking at my blog at this very second! wow. no clue how that happened. the only "advertising" i have is a link on my AIM profile!
oh, make that 15 users looking at my blog right now! to bloggers (no pun intended) who have blogs with great traffic, this may seem...ok, does seem like a dollar compared to ten million dollars.

i bought a grey favorite crew neck tee(as the tag calls it) at american eagle and a white tank top from american eagle (it's the same as the red one i bought before, but it's white).
the blue tee i bought with my grandma last weekend is the same as the grey one , but it's a different color obviously) all of these peices are wonderful basics to have...perfect for layering, especially the tank top.

so yes, i managed to go shopping when in south street, which is a street in philadelphia. i got 3 stones in this store called Mineralistic; turquoise, jade, and moonstone. and my jewlery making obsession made a comeback, too; i made the tourquoise into a necklace, complete with a gold chain and gold wire. below is a picture of the sunset outside my hotel on the first or second day.

so i went shopping today with my grandma and got a navy blue american eagle tee shirt. the mall was pretty cool. they had juicy couture stuff but nothing that looked good to me. and they actually had a hollister unlike the mall near me. AND an abercrombie, which is not being renavated until june unlike the mall near me, THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
and in other news, the gap in town will be replaced with a sephora...it's good to know that at least our TOWN, despite our mall, has good priorities. i also hear there will soon be a store that carries so lows and juicy couture in town as well.

ok times up, i went shopping, idiots.
below is the fabulous long sleeved top i found at aeropostale. it looks nice over a bright tank top.
oh, and do you know how hard it is to shop in a store that has spring written all over it, only intending to buy a long sleeved top?? ok, let me explain. my mom said i have too many tee shirts so i can't buy any more. ugh. and so of course i fell in love with this tee shirt with this gold crown on it. but i got over it after spotting the grey top.
oh and i also got a pair of reef blue nike sneakers. good for power walking, i suppose.
speaking of power-walking, i'm starting the kinda sorta loathe it due to the fact that i have to freeze my butt off (and my ears, and my hands, and my cheeks...) just to see how many steps i can take in 20 minutes. oh, what a grand old time. well, it was either that or baldminton, and quite honestly i'm tired of sports involving any hard object that may, at any given moment, come flying at my head.
